Circa 1880 round extending Regency Revival dining table, English. Of the finest mahogany timbers. 2 leaves - 23.75"
23.63". This crank extending table expands from amply seating 4 to 8 with ease. The turned, reeded and medallion carved legs end in brass cups and bold casters. The apron is comfortable dining height. Label: Selbat Dining Tables, Reg. Trade Mark No 186211. The company specialized in expanding dining tables in the 19th to early 20th centuries. The "Screw Expander" crank was made by Joseph Fitter, patented with Royal Crest, Britannia Works, 210 Cheapside, Birmingham. 48" dia. extends to 94.63" in length; 29.25" h.
