About the Item
This vintage mid-century oak dining room, or kitchen, table captures the essence of Henning Kjærnulf's design philosophy, blending a bold brutalist aesthetic with refined danish craftsmanship. The intricate leg carvings harmonize beautifully with the table's squared top shape, creating a piece that both have the nordic design look and is very functional. Its excellent vintage condition, smooth glide mechanism, and sturdy build are enhanced by a touch of charming patina, as seen in the photos. Legs are straight and wood is with no damage.
The surface of the table has been cleaned and degreased, and new clear oil has been put on, so that the oak looks raw and light in appearance. If you are looking for a more darker and deeper look, please see our other tables that has a deeper patina.
The table size is good and small and with the addition of two extra fold down leaves (each measuring 44cm or approximately 17.32 inches), the table can extend also with added leaves in the middle (each measuring 50cm or approximately 19.68 inches), to accommodate 6, 8, or even 12 people, making it ideal for dinner parties and larger gatherings. The clearance under the table for chairs is 63 cm (approximately 24.8 inches).
Top is made from veneer and has is in beautiful condition.
Sturdy and firm, ready to use. We go thorugh all of our products entirely and fix and clean whenever a imperfection is seen. The furnitures comes with and age of 50+ years, so a patina will be visible.
