About the Item
This table features a solid wood top with smoothly joined slats and rounded edges, complemented by sculptural legs crafted from volcanic cedar wood. The legs are designed as a dynamic equilibrium between two seemingly opposing forms, ensuring perfect stability while creating surprising visual interest. To protect and maintain the volcano cedar finish follow the instructions provided with the maintenance kit. Apply natural scented oils or waxes every six months using the provided wax. After waxing, avoid placing cushions or sitting on the surface with light-colored clothing, as friction may cause slight color transfer. Promptly dab any spills with absorbent paper—do not rub. Hot liquids and strong detergents may permanently damage the surface. Dispose of wax-covered clothes following the maintenance kit instructions.
Solid cedar wood naturally expands, contracts, and forms cracks or splits over time. These are expected and do not qualify as defects. The Vulcano finish process may cause additional cracks, revealing pale yellow tones of untreated cedar beneath. This is a normal reaction and does not affect the wood’s integrity. Cracks or indentations can be touched up using the special brush and black color included in the maintenance kit.
This product is NOT intended for outdoor use. Exposure to outdoor elements may lead to significant cracking, fading, and damage, which will not be considered grounds for complaints or claims. The natural characteristics of solid cedar and the Vulcano finish process are inherent to the product and should be expected.
By purchasing this product, the buyer acknowledges and accepts these natural aging effects, and no claims or complaints will be accepted related to wood movement, cracks, finish variations, or maintenance requirements.
We do our best to expedite production and to ship and deliver product within the listed lead time, however current lead times might be longer due to global shipping backlog and delays. These delays are out of our control and cannot be a reason to cancel an order.
Our pricing includes all costs for international shipping to the U.S., as well as duties and customs clearance fees. Please be aware that local delivery within the U.S. is not included. Note that cedar wood products are typically shipped in wooden crates for protection during transport. In most cases, one or more screws will be used to secure the piece to the crate at the base. These screws can simply be removed when unpacking.
The small screw holes that may remain are not a defect in production, do not compromise the structural integrity of the product, and do not cause or contribute to cracking. They are part of the standard safety method used to stabilize the item during shipment.
For this reason, these screw points are not considered damage and cannot be used as the basis for a claim.
