We love this piece entirely made of solid pine, designed by Bernard Taillefer for Les Arcs in the 1970s. aillefer, a skilled cabinetmaker, was chosen by Charlotte Perriand to collaborate on the project, known for its focus on minimalist and functional design. His work seamlessly aligned with Perriand’s vision of creating living spaces that embraced natural materials and simple, yet effective craftsmanship. With its versatile design and central storage drawer, it's perfect against a wall or in the middle of a room to divide the space. One can imagine it as a large desk library or even as a dining table that can accommodate six people. France, around 1975.
