About the Item
A very elegant and high quality early 19th century French Louis XVI style mahogany drop-leaf dining table. Raised by six circular tapered legs ending with ormolu sabots and the original wood casters. At the two ends of the table, with two extensions, are ormolu pulls below, used to support the ends. The Fine grained mahogany table has a wonderful original rich patina throughout.
