About the Item

This Early 20th Century Refectory Dining Table was crafted from old growth oak by French artisans in the early 1900's. The piece features wood pegged construction with a dovetailed planked three inch thick top that rest on a sturdy apron leading to four square slightly chamfered legs. Each leg is supported by an H frame and center stretcher. This table exhibits two square openings on each end apron suggesting there was once two additional leaves that could be added when needed. The openings are not highly visible and the leaves are no longer available. Strong and sturdy, this Early 20th Century French Oak Refectory Dining Table with its warm aged patina will make a statement when placed in all interior styles. 82.5"W x 35"D x 30.5"H Knee clearance 24"
