Empire Dining or Center Table in Rosewood Veneer, 19th Century. This is a very elegant and large 19th century Empire style dining / center table with a top in expressive rosewood veneer. Wonderful simple yet very stylish design with a slender pedestal base with ornamental rounded feet. Very nice and thin rosewood veneered top with nice colors and a very expressive wood grain. Fits 6 chairs - so could be a great dining table. Also very usable as a stylish center table in a hallway. The table comes in a highly original condition with wear due to age and use. Please note for US buyers - rosewood is a endangered and protected wood species and requires extra time for transport / customs.
