About the Item

Designed by Lucian R Ercolani, the Ercol Old Colonial table is an earlier and rarer design than more recent Ercol tables. Produced in the 1960’s It has the ‘blue label’ which was only used between 1955 and 1975. It is well used but in great condition, the solid elm top has distinctive wood grain. The leg ‘X’ frame is solid beech with ridged detailing which is unique to the Old Colonial. This model looks round but is actually a subtle oval shape. Size Extended width 125cm Unextended width 61cm Depth 113cm Height 74cm Condition: Very good mid century condition, only minor signs of wear reflecting age and use.
