A Rare, Original French Mid-Century Modern Industrial Wrought Iron Dining table or Desk circa 1930. The table works as dining table, center table or large desk and has a cantilevered top of St. Gobain glass that is sheathed in an iron frame. The design features 4 wrought iron round rods supporting the glass top and elevating it above the wrought iron base. This cantilevering is rare in piece like this and it elevates the design and status of the piece. The glass is stamped St. Gobain. The table would also be effective with a solid stone top.
