About the Item
The Less steel table is part of a family of functional furniture created for the Fondation Cartier offices in Paris. Its graphic silhouette, abstract design and lightness exemplify Jean Nouvel’s artistic vision.
He wanted people to ask, ‘How is it made?’, ‘How does it hold together?’ By searching for the essence of the table archetype, he alighted on a streamlined design that resembles the wing of a plane in its purity of form.
