About the Item
Custom-designed and studio-made by American artist Judy Kensley McKie (B. 1944), there is no other words to described this "Reindeer Table" other than that is one of the most beautiful pieces of studio furniture we have ever seen, circa 1988, this is a one of a kind work made specifically for a private client and it comes with the artist's hand drawing or rendering from different angles.
Extraordinary in its scale and proportion, the design evokes a powerful sense of mystery that one often finds in tribal art, yet the presentation was of a modern interpretation of form and shape that almost morphed into pure geometry and abstraction.
The craftsmanship and artistry displayed in this piece is astounding and manifests as one of the best example of the wood work at the peak of a creative career.
