Stunning burled walnut comes inlaid with rosewood, satinwood, and elm in various shapes such as urns and garlands. Also, the finish is a true French polish. Burled walnut comprises the main wood used for the top. This type of walnut has a stunning and intricate grain with lighter and darker tones. When properly cut, burled walnut has a fantastic look as you can see in this table! The burled walnut has been faithfully applied to the top, apron, and legs. Finally, the legs even feature complementing inlays! Sturdily made with a strong crank system, this table can expand or contract to meet your needs. It sits at 70? long with no leaves and comes with three 23.5? leaves you can put in. This means being able to set the table up at 70?, 93.5?, 117?, and 140.5? lengths! At its full size of 140.5? x 51? you can easily seat a host of 12-14 for a comfortable meal! The sturdy crank makes it very easy for one person to insert or remove leaves. Being handcrafted in England, this table is of the utmost quality. From the sturdy casters to the intricate hand inlays, you will find no reason to fault this stunning piece! One of the most impressive features on such a large table is the French polish, all done by hand. It gives the table a wonderful, antique-like sheen that cannot be duplicated by sprayed finishes.
