Spanning across 4 monumental pillars, and carved from a single block of stone, the M_010 Dining Table embodies architectural simplicity and raw material elegance. Its simple geometric form invites both communal gatherings and intimate conversations. Customization available upon request. Suitable for indoor / outdoor use.
The table uses a metal skeleton underneath for added strength weight reduction.
NYC-based design studio Monolith focuses on collectible furniture and homeware by exalting natural beauty through heavy constructions and clean shapes. The studios debut collection "Sanctuary" takes form via nine designs that comprise of chairs, tables and more crafted from stone and wood.
Specifically, the collection utilizes locally sourced Jalapa Travertine, White Oak, Recinto Negro and Walnut. The pieces’ natural materials are enhanced by curved and straight-edge modular designs that convey of sense of contemporary refinement.
