Listed for sale is a stunning custom contract stone desk/conference/dining table in exceptionally nice condition. The top has some light wear and was used as an executive desk. See photos for condition.
List price on this piece is $8-10k This example is made from a stunning dark tan granite. It is reminiscent of the rectangular Florence Knoll marble/granite top tables, however, this is actually more solid, in that the base is custom made and welded in its entirety rather than fastened. The details were all hand polished and beautifully done.
The table was ordered by Skidmore, Owings
Merrill Architects (SOM) for a law firm in Manhattan during a large-scale re-design of the office.
Note the table base is in great shape shape with average wear. It does have seem to have a professionally repair on the edge as noted in the photos. Gorgeous piece.
