20th century monumental country French provincial farmhouse dining table, refectory table, or harvest table measuring over 12.5 feet long. Hand-crafted from massive oak timbers the table features a 2.5 inch thick top supported by a rare triple pedestal trestle base. The gracefully curved legs have an hourglass form conjoined by a long stretcher. The stretcher is constructed with an exposed mortise and tenon joinery and the legs end with large 5.5 inch thick shoe feet. Gorgeous 20th century country French farmhouse dining table featuring a rare mahogany construction. The table has a 2 inch thick solid mahogany plank top having a straight edge border. The top is supported by a massive trestle base with 4 inch thick square post legs conjoined by an H form stretcher. Each end of the table is fitted with a small storage drawer having a patinated brass round pull. Ample leg room measuring 24 inches from the floor to the apron. The radiant mahogany woodgrains are featured throughout the table with a dark finish. The finish has a desirable aged patina to commensurate its age and use.
