About the Item

Postmodern Cena table designed by Achille Castiglioni for Zanotta, Manufactured by Zanotta, Italy Beautiful dining table or executive office desk with Beola stone tabe top. Manufactured by Zanotta in the early to mid 1980ies, with makers bedge. (offer includes the table only!) The most extraordinary thing about this postmodern and yet rather "simple" design piece by Achille Castiglioni is the steel construction underneath that virtually defines the table in its entirety, while its hidden under the massive table top. At four points it offers shots for screwing the table legs. At the same time, it offers the solid Beola stone table top a load-bearing structure that relates all the individual components to each other and defines their position. The corner profiles of the massive Beola stone slab are carved and polished, rounded head and long side alternately downwards or upwards. The take is in very good vintage condition without damages or restoration. The table‘s legs show loss of laquer in the height of the chairs seat. Overall very good vintage condition ! item will need to be dissasembled for shipping ! Delivery to place of unloading / curb edge only ! Please feel free to contact us for further questions regarding shipping/packaging etc. and/or for further pictures.
