This extraordinary sculptural table, made in Italy by Poggioli in the 1970s, represents one of the boldest expressions of Italian postmodern decorative design. The piece stands out for its complex and dynamic architectural base, constructed as a three-dimensional interweaving of geometric volumes in maple, maple burl, and polished brass. The surfaces, masterfully lacquered and polished to a mirror finish, create a play of warm and deep reflections that enhance the plastic perception of the whole.
