About the Item
This rare table is an example of masterful design. The console or parlor table top opens with a hidden latch which slides the top open exposing a butterfly leaf inside. The depth goes from 25" to 41". The top is skillfully designed with mahogany inlays and parquetry designs. Underneath is another outstanding form of craftsmanship, showing the carved legs and support beams.
