Round Neoclassical Dining Table Center Table Black Age-Distressed Finish w/ Gold

About the Item

Handsome round neoclassical dining table or center table with its original black painted and perfectly age-distressed finish with gold painted details. It is in wonderful solid condition with a beautifully aged patina which includes wear to the painted finish (especially at feet), fading, nicks, dings, and scratches. You cannot create this look artificially. Please see photos, circa early 20th century. A delicate and perfectly aged piece like this table does not come around often. So, when we saw it, we knew we had to have it to offer to you. Neoclassical in style but I can see it mixing with so many other styles from Art Deco and Art Nouveau to a home with a farmhouse or traditional vein and possibly even an industrial or steampunk loft. This lovely round table would be perfect in a small dining room, a breakfast nook, sunroom, living room, bedroom, or even as a center table in an entry. And in case you would like it larger, it is able to accept three 12-inch-wide leaves but unfortunately, they were not there when we found it. We can have these made for you.
