Square extensible walnut table designed by Silvio Coppola for Bernini production 1970s.
The measurements of the open table become W 155 D 155 H 70.5 cm
Graduated in Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic.As an architect, he made buildings in Baghdad, university towns in Zaire, housing and hotel facilities in several Italian cities, becoming a design architect for the Cee European Development Fund in 1965. In the fields of interior design, industrial design and visual communication, Coppola works as a consultant and collaborator with major Italian and foreign industries including Bayer, Bernini, Montecatini, Monteshell, Zucchi, Cinzano, Alessi, Cassina, Parmalat, Feltrinelli.In 1967 he founded with Munari, Grignani and others the research group Exhibition design, working particularly in the field of pre-design.He was awarded the Palme d'Or for advertising in 1962 and the Rizzoli Prize in 1966. Member of ADI, AIGA New York and AGI, of which he served as vice president for two years.
