Table rectangulaire de Guido Faleschini pour Mariani, Italie, 1970. Le mobilier de cette gamme désigné par Guido Faleschini était distribué par Hermes France dans les années 70. Le plateau de verre fumé d'époque repose sur des traverses gaines de cuir fauves qui forme un carré reposant sur quatre pied en aciers chromés de forme triangulaires.

Guido Faleschini est un architecte et designer industriel italien qui a obtenu plusieurs diplômes dans le domaine de l'art et de l'architecture. Il a commencé sa carrière en concevant des pièces pour des clients privés et des entreprises de meubles dans la région de Brianza, en Italie, dans les années 1960.Il a enseigné la composition architecturale à l'Athénée de Lausanne en Suisse pendant les années 1970-1974.
En tant que designer industriel, Faleschini s'est intéressé à la création de mobilier pour les bâtiments classés, en particulier les bâtiments historiques. Il est considéré comme l'un des intellectuels du design industriel italien des années 60 et fait partie des figures clés du design italien.
