This is a superior vintage 8-seat country house table. An English, oak refectory or kitchen table, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.
Exceptional figuring and substance, with traditional appeal and superb proportion
Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
Select oak stocks present fine grain interest and an abundance of medullary rays
Beautiful colour throughout, with warm caramel highlights alongside deep chestnut hues
Excellent five plank top offers comfortable dining for up to eight guests
Each of the near 6' 5" planks crafted from stout stocks of 1.75'
Generous kneehole space aids comfort, with apron heights of 64cm (25.25'')
Three can be accommodated along the length, with a kneehole space of 150cm (59'')
Broad shoulders enclose the apron, above turned baluster legs with collared finish
Block feet to each corner, united for stability with a H-stretcher rail
