About the Item
A Vintage Baker Two Board Dining Table which will be the focal point of any dining room in which it is placed. A single solid mahogany base with brass capped feet is assisted in carrying the load of the table when fully extended by two drop down legs which cleverly lock into place. Their simple elegance helps define this beautiful “Historic Charleston” table. The tabletop has been lovingly crafted using the finest available veneers to create a beautiful center field surrounded by banding of the highest quality, all assembled in the popular oval table shape. The table base is in original condition while the tabletop has recently been sympathetically restored to give it an even finish. This table includes the original metal furniture labels from the factory; these labels are fastened on the bottom of the table.
Please note that the table comes with pads, although there is only one leaf leaf pad.
Baker furniture company has been around since 1890 and their master cabinet makers did an outstanding job of combining finely veneered panels with attractive mahogany solid woods in all of their pieces.
Table Measure 46″ W x 56- 96 ” L x 30″ H
As with all antique and used pieces of furniture there will be some small signs of wear and tear but overall this item is in great condition.
