Mario Marenco (1933-2019) was an Italian architect, designer and actor. He graduated in architecture from the University of Naples and also worked in Stockholm and Chicago. As a designer he is famous for the sofa Marenco for Arflex (1970) and other iconic furniture.
On television and radio he excelled as a comic actor on Alto Gradimento, L'altra domenica e Indietro tutta!with characters such as Colonel Buttiglione. He passed away in Rome in 2019, leaving his mark on both Italian design and entertainment.

George Ciancimino (1928-) Born in Algiers, he began his career in Paris as a ceramics and sculpture assistant. In the 1950s he moved to North America, where he worked in furniture design, before settling in London, where he opened a gallery and developed his own style combining Japanese craftsmanship and modern industrial processes. He collaborated with international companies such as Mobilier International (France) and designed for private and corporate clients. His work includes iconic Mid-Century Modern furniture, such as the Shamrock Table.
