About the Item

Made in Sweden in the 1800s, this rustic wooden table brims with personality. The design is simple yet versatile: the broad wings of the wooden tabletop can be closed to form a narrow unit, or opened out on gated legs to offer an ample work surface. A wooden drawer provides practical storage space. The once-painted surface has weathered over the centuries to form a nostalgic patina in robin’s egg blue, dark burgundy and natural wood. This distressed finish, combined with the rustic asymmetry of the silhouette, evokes the country charm of the Scandinavian farmhouse.
