This is an antique 4 seat drop leaf supper table. An English, Cuban Mahogany extending gate leg serving table, dating to the mid Georgian period, circa 1750. Exceptional example, with beautiful figuring and colour Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order Superior grain interest accentuating the quality Cuban stocks Presented with appealing, warm caramel hues throughout Opening from an occasional two seat table to a comfortable four seater When open, the striking figuring draws the eye across the surface Pair of shaped leaves raise upwards, resting on flying gate legs Each leg gently tapering to a quartet of elegant pad feet This is a delightful antique drop leaf supper table, graced with rich colour to the superb timber. A treat of grain interest and form. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
