About the Item

Sculptural "Babe III" console table designed by Vico Magistretti and produced by De Padova in 1988. This striking piece features an oval-shaped top crafted from solid stained cherry wood, finished with Swedish oil and wax to enhance the natural warmth and depth of the grain. The name "Babe" is a tribute to baseball legend Babe Ruth; the iconic leg design is inspired by and developed from the silhouette of a baseball bat, giving the table a playful yet elegant character. In excellent vintage condition, with minimal signs of age and use. An exceptional statement piece for modern interiors, entryways, or sophisticated living spaces. All our pieces come from our historic showroom in Santa Margherita Ligure and are carefully selected for their authenticity, quality, and story. We offer worldwide shipping handled by a specialized fine art carrier, at competitive rates and with personalized service. Shipping cost shown is only an estimate placeholder.
