About the Item

This is a charming George II corner table of uncommon form; the triangular drop side, the beautifully shaped apron, the gate leg and pad feet together form a stunning small table. The surface appears to be original, with the exception of the top which has been resurfaced, but not stripped. We have applied several coats of hard paste wax to the surface which has brought it close to its original surface. The scrolled two-sided shaped skirt in a contrasting grained oak adds further refinement. The table is in overall very good condition with the exception of minor losses to the corners of the drop sides.
