About the Item

This beautiful Vintage COUNCILL Pembroke Table will be recognizable to anyone familiar with fine antique furniture. Originally designed by Henry Herbert, 9th Earl of Pembroke, this form of table was made popular by various furniture designers in 18th century England. Also often referred to as a dropside table and sometimes called a breakfast table our Vintage COUNCILL Pembroke Table is beautifully appointed with many great features such as the satin wood banded top and sides, the tapered and shaped legs as well as the inlaid legs and drawer fronts. This Pembroke Table is versatile due to it’s ability to expand in size as needed and can be used throughout the home. Tables Measure 19-29 w x 30 d x 27 h As with all antique and used pieces of furniture there will be some small signs of wear and tear but overall this item is in good condition. The table does have some sun fading on the top, please see photos for details.
