About the Item
This is a beautiful and exceptionally well looked after small William IV drop leaf side table hand carved from solid Mahogany with book matched top and drop leaves, two small drawers to one side and a marble lined drop hatch compartment to the other
The legs are hand-turned with two very elegant tapered octagonal sections with separately by turned bobbin sections with tiny working brass castors on the base/ The octagonal design of the leg is echoed in the top with the corner cut drop leaves and chamfered edges to the central body of the cabinet
The central cabinet houses two traditionally crafted mahogany drawers with dovetail joinery and brass covered key holes (we do not have the keys but it would be a simple furniture key to be able to find,9 if required to lock the drawers. The opposite side housed a marble lined section with a drop door with hand turned mahogany handle twist lock
Its a stunning piece and super useful as a small sofa side table, beside table or next to an armchair

These beautiful hand-carved solid hardwood Side Tables in Mahogany and hand applied 24Ct Gold Leaf finish were entirely hand-crafted by the wonderful Florentine craftspeople at Gallo SNC in Florence Italy.
This beautifully designed table hand carved from solid wood has 3 tapering fluted legs, rosette details to the top of each leg around the banding with acanthus leaf feet and carved rope trim detail to the base of the banding - all accentuated with precious metal leaf. The glass top also features a 1"/ 2.5cm deep bevelled edge - super chic and with elegant design details
