About the Item
With swirling grain and warm coloring, the subtle beauty of peach wood stars in this low side table from China's Shanxi province. Crafted in the mid-19th century using traditional joinery, the table has a streamlined silhouette, with a floating-panel top, waisted apron and four corner legs ending in hoof feet. A beaded edge traces the underside of the tabletop and legs, a quiet detail that finishes the table's refined form.
