About the Item
One idea that I am consistently playing with is developing objects which can be repeated to create combinations that shift the appearance of a piece depending on how they are placed in relation to each other. This coffee table is, in reality, made up of three identical side tables which are rotated sixty degrees to each other to create the classic form of a triangle. The contrast of the skewed pentagon of each individual table top plays off the contrast with the final form which can, of course, be configured in multiple compositions with unlimited possibilities depending on the number of tables being used and the manner in which they are arranged.
