An absolutely jaw-dropping pair of custom commissioned organic small chests, circa 1980. Stout hardwood construction with exquisite bullnose detailing highlighting the drawer fronts and case sides. Painstakingly veneered in diagonally applied reed bamboo. Radiant texture and warmth. Exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Striking architectural jewelry intended to anchor a cherished space. Excellent Restored Condition. The chests have been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. All bamboo veneer is intact and complete. The chests display a wonderful range of color and patina. The finish demonstrates a fabulous depth and sheen. The tops measures 19.5 inches wide x 25 inches deep. The width and depth noted below are per the case. The price listed is for the pair.
