Founded in NYC by Erik Johnson and Jen Johnson-Kuhn, design and fabrication company Argosy Designs specializes in custom architectural and ornamental metalwork. Argosy collaborates with a range of clients in interior and architectural design to execute projects for residential and commercial spaces, including staircases, windows, doors, sculpture, hardware, lighting, and furniture. Notable clients include Bergdorf Goodman, Roman and Williams and Interiors, Ian Schrager Company, Herzog de Meuron, Leo Villareal Studio, and Fawn Galli Interior Design. In addition to custom work, Argosy also produces an eponymous line of handcrafted furniture, lighting, and unique objects, called Argosy Product Division (APD). APD offers an array of industrially modern, exquisitely made products, created by skilled artisans with attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship. “Collection I” is defined by the subtle and intricate balance of physical presence and emotional influence, employing strong materials, intentional lines, and deliberate angles.
