About the Item
Pair Antique French Directoire Neoclassical End Tables with Carrara Marble are ideal companions for any setting. Hand-crafted from exotic imported mahogany, each has been given a finish on all four sides making placement in the middle of the room an option. One immediately notices the luxurious Carrara marble top, surrounded by a pierced brass gallery fence. Support is provided by four corner posts with fluting on the front, with each affixed to four tapered and fluted legs tipped with brass feet. Each piece sports a brace of convenient drawers stacked one on top of the other in the casework, with each outlined in brass trim and fitted with a centered brass knob. Note the dovetail workmanship on the sides of the drawers.
