About the Item
Elegant and Unique pair of French Mid-Century Modern Craftsman benches / stools or side tables from the 1930 era. The pieces were custom, handmade pieces for a Parisian home designed with a sober, modernist aesthetic in the style of Jean-Michel Frank. The construction is sober and unique. The hammered wrought Iron legs are finished with distinctive sabots and show their welding marks. The Iron frames support tops of teak that are cantilevered over each other and the iron frame. The tops are finished in a coffee bean color.
