About the Item
A striking and most unique pair of Genovese 19th century Louis XV st. Kingwood, Tulipwood and marble side tables/chests. Each stunning quarter veneered and bombée shaped side table is raised on cabriole legs with finely chased Ormolu sabots. With a scalloped frieze and scalloped sides the two drawers are separated with Ormolu mounts. The two drawers are centered with Ormolu keyhole escutcheons and scrolled designed handles. All below the handsome fitted Vert Antique marble top bordered by Kingwood veneer.
