About the Item
Glamorous matching pair of gilt curtain side or end tables feature a Trompe l'oeil swag curtain design hand-carved from wood with hand-applied gilt and hand-burnishing for a dramatic finish. Designed in the grand California romantic style by Nancy Corzine. The frames have a textured, reeded finish with tapered legs that conjoin with X-form stretchers. The tops are inset with aged, distressed glass panes. The finish has an intentionally distressed patina to mimic age. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery. From an estate in Bel Air, CA.
