About the Item
End Table base for use with or without glass. 18" diameter x 20" tall. Produced from genuine walnut, use as a stool, ottoman, coffee table or coffee table base (add glass up to 48" in diameter). These models (2 were produced) are prototypes that were produced for a series we are releasing this year (Emergence Collection) and is a photo model piece set and is a singular example of its kind bordering on art. Very sturdy, can be used in living room, bedroom as occasional tables also. Taking the techniques utilized in production of radial designs for my entrance doors, we have imagined the same principles in fine furniture. This design comprises of a top that speaks for itself, while the base has no start or finish with the walnut flowing without interruption for pure elegance. It is bold, elegant and entirely unique. The base is robust and we've tested it up to 1200 pounds on the top. It has significant weight to it and anchors the floor. Images have been provided showing how this piece (see other listings) can come in any height to be used as coffee, end or sofa tables all the way up to display columns and dining room table bases. Finished with a clear varnish, its finish will last many years and the piece will last for generations. Produced by Aaron Saxton, master craftsman in WV. These are priced individually and it should be noted one has a flaw to one side (if both are selected for purchase). If both are selected for purchase we can offer a discount for the acceptance of the second piece with the flaw.
