About the Item
An exceptional 19th Century French Cherry Farm Table with an incredible authentic presentation. The Table seats six easily and has a plank top, peg construction and sits very solidly. The table top has decorative end cut boards and a traditionally shaped apron with a utility drawer on each side (One drawer with a replaced wooden pull). The legs are solid, thick and have a slight Cabriolet curve.
Dimensions: 73.10” wide by 30.25” deep by 30.5” high.
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are various acceptable signs of age including sporadic and attractive worming, work marks, scratches and wear to the top surface, nicks and wear to the edge and corners, stable board separation and slightly tight drawers. All of the aforementioned is for accuracy as the wear is ameliorated by a later polish and the Table presents in a particularly fine Provincial French manner.
