About the Item
Sensational stainless steel top farmhouse work table. The perfect compliment to any kitchen or work space. The table features double slotted sides for quick waste removal, chamfered legs, a lower curved front shelf for storage, and simple solid brass hardware on two front drawers. A multi-purpose table. Circa 1920. The pine structure features a distressed white top coat of paint with hints of a light mustard yellow undercoat. Some area paint losses reveal light colored pine.
Structurally sound and sturdy construction. Worn, weathered and distressed with multiple coats of paint that are chipped, checked, and crazed. The wear is extremely desirable, because only time and use can replicate the patina. Tarnish to brass handles. Oxidation to the pine interiors of drawers. Some minor tight splits to the apron. Overall wear.
The table measures approximately 38.25" deep x 62.5" wide x 33.25" high. The lower shelf stands 15" off the floor.
