About the Item

A rustic early 19th-century French Country farmhouse table or kitchen island, sourced from Provence, France. Hand-crafted from solid oak, the piece features a 6'6" long three-plank top joined with exposed wooden dowels. The table has been structurally restored and gently refinished to showcase a rich mid-to-dark brown tone that beautifully highlights the natural grain, character, and soulful patina of the aged oak. Functional as well as beautiful, it offers two drawers: a large end drawer and a smaller side drawer with divided storage, both fitted with original-style metal pulls. Raised on hand-carved tapered legs with traditional dowel joinery and offering a 22-inch apron clearance, this piece embodies the rustic charm and enduring quality of classic French Country design. Perfect as a generous kitchen worktable or a character-rich dining piece. - Origin: Provence, France - Dimensions: W 80" x D 33.75" x H 31" - apron clearance 22" - Condition: The table has been structurally revised and gently refinished, preserving its naturally aged, rustic patina.
