About the Item
Imposing country French farmhouse dining table hand-crafted from massive oak timbers. The grand rustic table features a 3.5" inch thick top with notched round demilune ends and a carved heraldic cross in the center. The oak planks have a beautifully aged and weathered patina with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The trestle style base is very heavy and solid with huge baluster turned legs ending with shoe feet over 10 inches wide. The legs are conjoined by a long stretcher on the bottom. Very impressive with an amazing European farmhouse profile and euro skinny dimensions. Nicely aged patina with a light finish that is darker than a bleached table yet showcases the wood grains and hand carved features.
