About the Item
Round split reed game table with glass top. A lovely two person table for games or breakfast. Chic, Minimalist and Coastal in style, with opportunities for incorporating into spaces with other styles to add warmth, texture and clean lines.
We love this uncommon vintage piece that feels as though it may be custom-created for a snug design where style was of utmost importance. The frame is all wood and quite sturdy; it is wrapped entirely in oxidized split reed and topped with a circular glass top. We love the design exactly as it is, but feel compelled to suggest that a Carrara top might suit the base equally as well. The existing glass shows light surface scratches, which do not affect the overall aesthetic, but are of note.
Thonet chairs are shown for scale, but available for sale separately.
