A very good looking well-made and function piece of Art furniture, it is extremely decorative, the piece has been fully restored to include a reclaimed vintage Cherry Wood base repurposed to use house the exquisite Antique Italian Pietra Dura Marble chessboard top
The chessboard is for Jumbo pieces as the squares are much larger than normal, you can of course use standard size as well, it has multiple sections of marble inlay all over
Condition wise there are some small losses in the inlay and some foxing to the top layer of lacquer, all signs of good honest use
