About the Item
An amazing antique Victorian inlaid chess table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880’s period.
It is beautifully made, the top has an inlaid chessboard made from sycamore and other woods. This sits on a beautifully turned baluster base that rests on carved tripod legs. The quality is amazing, this is a very practical and fun item.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
