A very good looking and decorative table, it’s a nice size to be used as a games or occasional table, the table top with the chess section is intentionally lighter so you can see the chessboard clearer. The table dates back to the export era so 1920-1940, its based on the original Thomas Chippendale designs, a period Chippendale piece would be £100,000+
In terms of the condition it has been deep cleaned hand condition waxed and polished from top to bottom, it will naturally have some patination here and there from genuine age and honest use
