About the Item
An Antique Mahogany Banded Game Table featuring a beautifully shaped top with fine quality mahogany graining in the front of the skirt of the table, banding on the uppermost surface and fine, pencil thin inlay designs throughout the skirt and base of the piece. Designed in a classic manner this game table has a beautiful turned and twisted and inlaid base with sweeping legs that end in the best quality brass capped feet. Remarkably after all of these years the legs are in great condition with only one small repair which is shown in the photos. The top of the Mahogany Game Table can be turned and the leaf of the table opened to create a large gaming or eating surface. Superior quality when first produced this fine table has withstood the test of time and still features what appears to be an early finish as well as some very old lining inside the hidden compartment.
As with all antique and used pieces of furniture there will be some small signs of wear and tear but overall this item is in great original condition.
