About the Item

Early 20th C. Louis XV style convertible games table with a floral and checkerboard inlaid tabletop with ormolu bound edge. The tabletop rotates and opens to a green felt lined square card table top. The tabletop lifts off to reveal a green felt lined storage area. The table is accented with metal mounts and trim. The cabriole legs are decorated with metal mounts and sabots. This is a highly decorative table with multiple possible uses. Aside from being a chess, checkers and card table, this table could also serve as a side or console table. Dimensions: 30.5"h x 32"w x 16"d (closed) 32"squ. (open) Condition: Good/Fair, some distress to wood border of table top when open, some finish wear and darkening to metal. Shows well. Ready to place.
