About the Item

What a fabulous Iron based game table with a world globe in the center of the base. The metal work is fantastic with heavy gage iron and flattened, gold painted pieces forming the continents. The top is a 30 inch by 30 inch square of white marble with brownish yellow marble inlaid to make the contrasting squares inside a black inlaid square. There are small chips around the outside of the marble, which I have tried to photograph and underside of the marble is marked Made in Italy. The metal table top (without the marble) measures 25 inches by 25 inches, the globe is about 15 inches in diameter with a surrounding 17 inch ring. The feet on each side are 20.5 inches apart.
